Location Details

The preserve was named after Echo Lake, which occupies approximately 25 acres of the property. At the west end of the lake, 60-foot granite cliffs plunge deep into the water. The echoes from these cliffs inspired the name "Echo Lake".

Echo Lake Nature Preserve is a conservation easement, with the fee ownership owned by The Nature Conservancy.
